Mr Rengchai owner of a ceramic factory in Lampang wher we purchased used
Sil Car. shelving an burners showing us the Northern Thai type Dragon kiln that
his father built. This kiln was used to make traditional Lampang type Chicken
bowls.

This huge mosaic bowl on the main highway at Lampang is a replica of the
Chicken bowls which were the basis for th Lampang cermic industry.

While looking for some materials in Lampang we stumbled across this small
machine shop which happened to be making the frame for a Lampang style shuttle
kiln
